After testing the water supplied by the Bama atheletic dept to mix our sideline powerade coolers, it was determined that it was tainted with a substance to induce muscle cramps.

Yeah and there's also a chance we could lose to Penn State, R-Kansas, Florida, or others. What's your point? It's not like we don't know we can lose a game

Show me ONE single Bama fan that honestly thinks we can't lose. Show me just one that thinks that we can't be beat.

No, he said Julio would not make a single catch.
Do you really believe that?
And he also said he wouldn't get cramps.
And why is PP so obsessed with JJ? That game is 9 months away and LSU has many games prior to the Alabama one.
Looks to me like PP has Julio taking up some major real estate in his head.

If he's not, why is he making stupid promises and shite talking 9 MONTHS before the game and 7 months before the start of the season?
There are 3 options-
1 - Julio is in his head
2 - Julio is his hero
3 - PP has a crush on Julio
Let's take PP's own words on this-
From November 2009

Let's take PP's own words on this-
From November 2009
quote:
Patrick Peterson gives every indication of becoming a player with a rich and colorful highlight career reel, but this week the play constantly running in his mind is a big one he failed to make. The LSU cornerback was lined up opposite Alabama wide receiver Julio Jones last year at Tiger Stadium in overtime. An undefeated and top ranked Crimson Tide was trying to score after the Tigers had failed to in their possession. Alabama quarterback John Parker Wilson passed one down the sideline that appeared to be headed out of bounds, but with Peterson draped all over him, Jones leaped and made a catch over his outside shoulder. First and goal Alabama; game over. "It's still playing in my head to this day," Peterson said Tuesday. "I just can't let it happen this time."
Another one from November 2009
quote:
"The coaches know what I want," Peterson told reporters Tuesday in Baton Rouge. "They have confidence in me. ... Everything I've been doing since (last) season (is) to prepare for Julio Jones. I really haven't had a chance to get into the game plan how Coach has us guarding him, but I do know I'm going to lock on Jones."
quote:
Now with a reputation as one of the league's top defensive backs, Peterson said of Jones' catch last year, "I still replay it in my head."
His Head. Julio is in it.

I mean it's not like it's a bad thing really. You could say that Florida was in Sabans head since the '08 SECCG.

He's sending a message to senior Julio that it won't happen again. He shut him down last game and he is confident he will do it again.Your right he really sounds scared.

Julio is a junior.
And, really, why is he even talking about Julio in March?

Would folks be quoting him if he was talking about his English Mid Term?
Hell no, he is a football player, they talk about football, sports writers write about football players talking about football......................what other absolutely obvious things to you need pointed out to you?

It's too bad he didn't have the physical stamina to play the entire game with Julio. It must have sucked sitting on the sidelines, watching JJ sprint those 73 yds for a score. I mean.. just sitting.. dwelling on the fact that he could not keep up with JJ for entire 60 minutes....
Posted on 3/25/10 at 8:41 pm to BamaChick
I know he's a Jr.silly that's not what I meant.Personally I need some good football smack talk to get me thru the offseason.

Thank you to the entire staff and team for literally making LSU quit!
