Interesting read. Looks like they are based in Waco. I wonder if A&M leaving did in fact cripple the city.

Chip and Jo say ‘hi.’….Waco is booming. Space X is expanding; Amazon is here(to name a few)
In short, we’ll be just fine either way.
The only downside: tons of people from Austin and California moving here to escape crazy politics, traffic, and insane housing prices. Which means, of course, our real estate prices are now going through the roof, traffic is worsening, and I’m quite sure that those folks will bring their “progressive values” and start reeking havoc on our way of life

What's even sadder is that Chip and Joanna are a better SEC fit than anything in Austin or Norman.
