After this weekend, Vandy has a bye week, then, home vs #13 LSU, home vs #19 Missouri and at #9 Texas.

Vandy could easily go 3-0 here

Yes, it could go either way. Right now, Vandy is 5-0. How have they done in prior seasons with 5-0 starts? Looking back over the last 100 years...

2008 - Lost next 4 straight and 6 of their last 7 before winning a bowl game.

1943 - Finished the season 5-0, because they didn't have to play any SEC teams.

1941 - Lost game #6 at home to Tulane, finished the season 8-2.

1937 - Lost game #6 at Georgia Tech, finished the season 7-2.

1932 (Pre-SEC) - Actually started 4-0-1, won game 6 against Georgia Tech...finished the season 6-1-2.

1928 - Won game #6 vs Kentucky, lost the next 2 straight to finish the season 8-2.
