Miami is a lot like Florida.
They were very good for a very short period of time. Otherwise they're not anything special.
Miami had a nice 20 year stretch from the early 80's to the early 2000's. But otherwise, they're pretty much the equivalent of Missouri.
Florida's the same. Nice 20 year stretch from 1990-2010. But otherwise Mizzou.
For some reason both think they've always been relevant and are anything more than UCF right now. But it's just not accurate. Neither team matters.

Since joining the ACC 20 years ago, Miami has finished the season ranked 6 times. Of the those six times, none have been in the top 10.
