It means so much more to me when we beat LSU. State is an important game because you have to listen to the mouth breathers if they win.
It's kind of a lose lose for us to call it a rivalry. When we beat state it's not like you can brag about it, you've beaten the worst program to ever play football in the entire league, but if you lose, you've lost to the worst program to ever play football in the entire league.
State fans enjoy a few 6 win seasons and they seem to forget that they are the worst program of all time in the league.
It crushes their soul to know that ole miss is a gd dynasty compared to that shite show in Starkville.
