Auburn is so unlucky being the only team that has injuries season after season.

UGA beats the okkies by 10 or more, count on it

And we trounced the barn because we dominated them on the LOS in the second game, they won the first because we had to travel to that shithole on the plains and our guys couldn't breathe the acrid fumes in that land fill that is auuubbbuuuurrrnn, AL, lol

Do y’all remember when they said you can’t fix LOS in two weeks, especially with a chop block team in the middle of it?

Oklahoma will outscore uga. It's really just that simple. I don't see georgia being able to score with ou. I see ou winning something like 34-21, or somewhere around that. Maybe 34-24.

What people REALLY are looking forward to here, is getting ahold of Alabama again. Last time we played them in the 2014 Sugar Bowl, we beat them 45-31, but their fans said Alabama was 'uninterested' because they weren't in the Championship game.

Yes, Clemson spanked us twice since then (the Venables connection makes Clemson likeable), but I can tell you, in spite of that, a whole lot of people around here wants Alabama and Alabama only, and I mean not to just beat them , but PUNISH them.

We only scored under 24 two times all season. What makes you think OU will be able to hold us to 24 or less? Their defense is horrid.

As a neutral party only interested in betting on this game, I would say that teams that have relied as heavily on their offense as OU has this season, usually don't fare as well in the post season. Especially against elite defenses which have a month to prepare. I'm betting Kirby comes up with a few wrinkles that Baker isn't prepared for.

That's true, although Alabamas defense wasn't too shabby in the '14 Sugar Bowl and we scored 45 on them. I can't wait for the game, should be epic!

Here's why you're wrong: Oklahoma's defense.

The OU D gives up their opponent's average points per game. For GA, that's 35. On the other hand, GA's D does not give up their opponent's average points per game. Sure, Mayfield will get points. Won't be anywhere near his season average of 44. His # of possessions will be reduced as GA runs the ball, grinds the clock & OU's D. Second half, they'll be sucking wind. And consider that one of OU's concerns is their tackling ... Chubb, Michel, Swift fixin to ea--Fromm playaction, Boom!

Oklahoma is like Dorothy. Oklahoma is going to find out that they are not in the big 12 anymore. Georgia plays defense and thats something that the Big 12 isn't familiar with.

Perfection isn't easy, no doubt. If you excel 12 times in a season and fall short once, that's not too shabby imo.

OU is 4-0 in last 4 SEC games I think....beating Auburn , Alabama and the poor Tennessee Vols twice. This isn't your dads Big 12. It's no longer lack of defense for lack of defense sake. OU has atheletes on the defensive side of the ball. But the emphasis is heavy on the pass still , which can skewer perception. :)

Not really. Having watched every snap of the 2017 season for OU, poor tackling was not what hurt them particularly early on. It was more missed assignments, being out of position, mental lapses and especially blown coverages in the pass happy big 12.

Make no mistake , OU has atheletes on defense. They just need to not let the mental mistakes of being out of position and be where they should be to make the plays.

only reason Auburn lost is because KJ was hurt.

I almost forgot that he played defense, too.
