Lol, OU had field position all throughout the last game and barely won. One of Bama’s scoring drives was 95 yards while Oklahomo’s longest drive was 45 yards and it ended with a 52 yard field goal.
The rest of Oklahomo’s scoring drives were:
29 yards-TD
15 yards-FG
19 yards-FG
11y yards-FG
The other TD was an 81 yard pick 6.

Speaking of hypotheticals, suppose Alabama had dropped to #10 like they should have after losing to Georgia? Then OU would be home, favored over Miami and Aggie would get another shot at Bama.

Off topic, but I saw an article today where Bob Stoops was questioning why Venables didn’t get Coach of the Year consideration.
Kudos to Venables on the job he’s done this year. OU 10-2. With that schedule. Second season the SEC. Hosting a playoff game.
