I guess it was already explained and it's probably off topic in here now?

He's an Arky fan that followed Nutt to Ole Miss.
I like the support, but I don't think fans should do that to the extent he does. I root for duke because of Cutcliffe, but I'm not gonna become a duke fan for them.

The only people who should be able to get away with that are friends/family.

And fwiw WMR thinks that a tiny corner of nice makes up for an entire state of fail. It doesn't. Oxford doesn't make up for Mississippi and I'm not going to pretend it does.

I'll have to side with WMR here.

Arkansas > Mississippi in just about every category. From education to income. But Arkansas is behind most states by the same standard.

Beyond that, the "tiny corner of nice" far trumps anything in Mississippi. Hell, it's one of Forbes top 5 places to start a career and family. The tri-county area is the 2nd fastest growing in the nation.

It's home to 25k a year average joe's, millionaires, and billionaires.

NW Arkansas is growing into an empire. The state of Nevada blows but Vegas is all it needs.

Arkansas is in the top 10 in violent crime, Mississippi isn't.

NW Arkansas is a nice place, don't get me wrong.
The rest of Arkansas...worse than Mississippi.
except Hot Springs, which is actually pretty nice too.

The place I grew up in Mississippi is like NW arkansas without the college and the mountains. It's just suburbia. We were the fastest growing county in america at one point, so what.
Name a town in Arkansas to be proud of besides Fayetteville and Hot Springs.

Everything between Memphis and Little Rock and Little Rock and Texarkana is probably the ugliest place I've ever seen.
The mountains in the western part of the state can be absolutely breathtaking though.

Mississippi has some pretty hills up in the northeastern part of the state. Itawamaba dog's turf. Oxford has some pretty hills too.
The problem is that Louisiana is so flat and ugly.

By what standard? Education? Income? Crime? Quality of living? Appearance?

Come on. I could name 50. You could name 50 for Mississippi. It's all about what you are looking for. Family friendly areas? Night life? Lakes? It's all a matter of preference.

We could do this all day but lets not. Statistically it isn't a stretch to say that Mississippi has less going for it than Arkansas but who cares? I'm not moving and you aren't either.

But I damn sure wouldn't trade NW Arkansas for a single location in Mississippi.

Blame your own kind. The OM student counsel came up with the name.......

You damned cajuns are the one's that created that abomination. But it sure looks purty sittin' next the Egg Bowl and Cotton Bowl trophy.

if we won that piece of shite id want to leave it somewhere. It doesn't deserve to even be next to a indy bowl trophy.

I do blame the lil art fgt that designed it. It also go booed at the game

its still terrible and worse than the jeweled dildo. I hate the name of the game its a fricking flower bowl and I hate the trophy. The game needs no name at all in fact the name and trophy take away from the games history.

we might as well just piss on all the good games in the past.

Damn right it does.

My idea was to call it the Bourbon Bowl. That goes along real well with the games history.

that would be a better name but id prefer no name. If you have a vote on a name then its prob going to suck. the game just has to adopt the name over the years.

other wise the rivalry seems to be faked.
