Lawd please no. If Riley were to exit after this season, I would hope that Grinch would get a hard look. After that, I have no earthly idea as to who we would try to get.

I have already pointed out the error of your post. If you are still unable to understand, then that is on you.
I can explain it to you, but I cannot comprehend it for you.

Well, that probably just proves you are slow on the uptake. But, that's ok. You just keep plugging along and, maybe, after another five years or so, you may catch on.

As slow as you are to just grasp the one, very minor issue in this thread, that ship has sailed.

ou’re correct about counter run concepts. It’s called a Trey Counter. I hate the term air raid because Riley is beyond air raid. He does mix two different types of offenses. He’s simply ahead of everyone one in regards to creativity.
Well no. Riley runs a GT (Guard/Tackle) Counter. Some of the ideas this scheme is based on did come from the Counter Tre that Joe Gibbs ran with the 'Skins, but it's a distinct system with a lot more variations. The Gibbs system's success largely came from the high experience/talent level of his offensive lines that practiced the scheme year in/year out with running backs that were perfectly suited to that run game. Obviously, Gibbs ran a variety of plays and wrinkles in the Tre, but the modern GT features far more flexibility than what was run in the 70's-80s. Especially in play action options.

You seem like the only non-insecure Sooner here. Whatever you want to call it, Y-Cross, Y-Sail, Blue RT 92(Mesh), which is the lifeblood of the Air Raid offense, is the lifeblood of Riley's passing offense.
