Actually they completely shat the bed against Army. 21 pts in reg.

It was their defense that shat the bed.

Army had 87 offensive plays and Oklahoma only had 40

That is including Overtime.

Oklahoma couldn't stop Army and Army held the ball for 50+ minutes of game time.

ps- He will be the fastest player on the field (sans Hollywood Brown) and also that Alabama has faced this season. FYI

Pretty sure Auburn has a WR who is a track guy and is the fastest player in college football. Someone from Auburn will have to confirm

Schwartz, Ruggs and Waddle all ran faster 100 meter times in high school than Brown.

Brown is awesome, but we've seen plenty of fast guys and see them everyday in practice.

Haha...well given your screen name I should probably take you up on it....So I take it you wouldn't feel as comfy of a bet against what the Vegas line is set at then...giving 'us' 14 points?

3 pages and not one upvote. What does that tell you about your “analysis”?

I already have a bet giving up the points.

But since you are so sure y'all will win outright, I'll be more than happy to place that bet as well.

Want to know something that showcases how much of a mismatch this game really is? By S&P+ offensive ratings there are 5 sec teams in the top 25. 4 from the big 12. There are 6 on defense from the sec (Florida is 26th btw) and 1 from the big 12. Offensively Alabama is only behind OU in offensive efficiency but it’s important to remember Alabama has about 4 games worth of play in which they’ve simply been wasting clock and hurts their rating. Also OU has had to go full throttle in nearly every single game. So not only has Alabama faced much better defenses, the sec as a whole is a better offensive league than the big 12. Despite that they are in the top 10 on defense while OU is 89th. Any way you look at it it’s kinda clear the media is ignoring every other part of the game except OU’s offense for a reason.

Quick analysis:

Alabama defense - #9

Georgia defense - #13

Oklahoma defense - #108

The #110 offense, Kansas, hung 40 on Oklahoma IN NORMAN.

Bama by 30.

were it not for Kylers crazy improvisations, would make things tighter than they could be but because he can make 60 yards out of what looked like a sack, BIG edge to OU.

So, he is better than Baker Mayfield? because we were told he was a huge edge over Georgia.

Not from Auburn, but Schwartz is his name.

More analysis:

The #103 offense, Iowa State, laid 27 on Oklahoma, but give dirt burglars credit. They did have daunting task of facing the Cyclones in that snake pit in Ames.

Oklahoma's football team is very similar to Alabama's football team....except for the entire defensive side of the ball.

I might've been inclined to agree with your first statement , but the Citadel, Arksansas State, Louisville, Tennessee games sort of level off that anylsis off to a near push (padded their defensive yearly stats), versus the better teams they play. The Georgia game as well.

THREE of those teams have a better defense than OU - why do you keep listing them?

Hell, Bama's defense faces a bad arse offense every day in practice. Vice versa - Alabama's offense faces an elite defense everyday too.

You Sooners will need to find an elite defense pronto to shut down the Bama offense, can Lincoln do it less than 3 weeks?
