For proper context, it’s been reported Young and Anderson both have NIL tied to their playing this game

No. You want to know what happened? CJ Stroud and Jalen Carter play tonight.

Business decision for Bryce Young and Will Andersen to get an additional game to make GMs think about who to draft.

That’s the reason they are playing.

No. Our best players opted out. Bama best players played.

Partly because the players have spent their entire college career with him—there is a relationship built over 4 or 4+ years when factoring in the recruiting process. That forms a different relationship, a different respect, and honestly a different commitment—and honestly that was probably part of the recruiting pitch of team over individual. It’s a little different when the coach that recruited you demonstrated the opposite post 2019. In the end everyone is different and does things for different reasons, but with stability and the right culture throughout the program, I believe things will change.

Saban has that, what does it take to get that here. There is absolutely no reason for Young to be playing, what do we need to do to get players to buy in like bama players do?
for one, they are playing in the Sugar Bowl. For another we do not have that culture here yet. Saban has instilled that culture for 15 years.

I don't see Kentucky's potential first round QB or their top 2 RBs for the season playing against Iowa either. Tennessee had tons of players out.

The higher the NFL salaries go, the more players will opt out....

What Bryce did was commendable, but very risky to say the least.

Put playing in the bowl as part of the NIL contract.

How about we let BK be here for more than one year?
