Kirby is good at one thing...... Recruiting, or more accurately stated.

Uga has been one of the most well coached teams of the past 2 seasons.

They did not look well coached against Texas.

If Georgia was able to run the ball against Texas it would have been different.

With Jim Chaney
You shut down the run game and tbe game is over.

Texas was shooting tbe gaps the entire game and selling out on the run.
Fromm should have had the ability to change the play at the LOS.
I don't see a NFL QB yet. Fromm should have changed plays probably about 15-30% of the time.

I don't think Georgia gives him that freedom.

Difference between Ehlinger and Fromm.
Ehlinger changes plays and puts people in positions to make plays.

What does that having to do with a QB having the ability to change plays at the LOS?

Fromm should have recognized what Texas was trying to do defensively.
Not just the coaches job once you get into college.

For the most part Texas' Offensive staff had their QB better prepared to play against top competition than Fromm.

Texas definitely did not empty the bench lol, it was 28-14 early in the 4th quarter. I would call it a “strong” or maybe even “dominating” win, but definitely not an arse-kicking, that’s ludicrous. It’s just that Georgia talked a fair amount of shite before the game and then lost to the underdog, plus the whole “Texas is back” theatrics afterwards. That kind of stuff tends to exaggerate the strength of a win

Can't really argue that logic but still...

The Texas defense shut down Georgia's offense and pretty much had their way with them.

Texas certainly benefited from 3 of our best defenders missing the game, among other things.

It wasn't about your defense.

It was about your offense.

Georgia scored 14 of their points against Texas' second and third string.

Exceptions don’t prove the rule, especially when there were extenuating circumstances.

I think Georgia has less than 300 yards total offense and less than 100 rushing that game. Could be wrong. I’m sure the stats are somewhere online.

That's fair, teachable moment, etc.

So what are we saying, if those three starters are back Georgia wins 74-72?

If it were a regular season game, UGA is a solid favorite that likely wins.

Georgia runs the ball much better in the regular season.
Good point.

The "take a look in the mirror" line leads me to believe Chad Morris may have said this. I really hope it's not him. Texas pulled off a pretty nice upset, and full credit to their performance. But they hardly beat the hell out of Georgia by winning by a touchdown. And Chad Morris should know about getting the hell beat out of him a time or two. Or three. Or 15.

It’s never the head coaches saying these things.

That is part reason why we were 5th in the final playoff poll.

texas fans getting excited over the offense based on one game is laughable. is joe wickline and sterling gilbert still reinventing the wheel?

I doubt you started a 2019 redshirt freshman like we did.

Uga scored 3 tds in 60 minutes. Texas scored 4 with one on a 12 yard drive after an uncharacteristic fumble.
