47 games, and it was an amazing feat, but it wouldn't happen in the BCS era. No way in the world that OU team would have gone undefeated even two years in a row if they had to play a legit nonconference schedule, a conference championship, and then a BCS bowl.
Still. 47 straight wins in ANY major conference is a very impressive run.

Lucky Schedule easier than most--no UGA, no USC, no UF. Okie St win 2011, no redo. No last second LSU missedAssignment, no this year. 10 more seconds, UGa wins 2012 champ. PP7 interception 2009, no 09 champ Lucky
Come on Bruh. This isn't a flame thread. Regardless of how Bama got there, 3/4 is damn impressive an definitely one for the ages.

Stop. National title were subjective as hell then. 47 wins in row trumps your run. Damn.

ND was also a HUGE underdog playing at Oklahoma when they ended their streak too.

Not so fast my friend. I do believe Bama will win, but Notre Dame will be fired up and will put up a fight.
This game will be over by halftime. Bama's only weakness on defense is a weakness that ND can not exploit. If Pitt's oline can push ND's front 7 off the ball then what do you think Bama's oline will do?
Now I know the transitive prop doesn't work in sports , but what it does show is that ND has and can play shitty against shitty teams.has Bama played shitty against cupcakes?

Bama is not unbeatable. N.D. has an even chance against the Tide this year.
Their QB has shown a lot of improvement and that will be the key.
