This thread is a perfect example of how the Aggies are moving on from the old SWC/Big 12 to their new home here in the SEC. Much like Arkansas before them there will always be a soft spot in their heart for the misfortunes of that school in Austin. Its like finding an extra Christmas present under the tree when something bad happens to the Whorns.

But life in the SEC brings its own special joy. With the exception of poor Vanderbilt there is a reason and season to hate every other SEC team out there. Bitter rivalries can pop up one week, only to be forgotten when you cheer for that team to beat another program you dislike even more.

Plus there is the sheer pleasure of watching LSU fans melt down. Even when they win, which they do very often, they still tend to melt down. We would still be in the midst of the LSU melt down over being blanked by Arkansas but their attention shifted to the Aggies stealing Chavis from them. They are the fanbase that keeps on giving.

Tl;dr... Welcome to the SEC guys.
