Kirby Smart

I heard yesterday on Richard Cross' radio show that Smart is a Jimmy Sexton man.

Leach and Rich Rod I dont see coming to Oxford and dont think the OM committee will definitely look at Leach's personal past (James' son)
As mentioned above Malzahn is likely headed to UNC b/c he can win there easier than at Ole Miss.

There are also rumblings here in Hattiesburg about Fedora to Arizona.

I'm hearing that he is heading to North Carolina.

Rumor here in AL was that they contacted him during the off-season and he turned them down. Pretty sad for an SEC team to get shunned by an SEC coordinator.

What would it take to get lane kiffin?

If you could embody all that is stereotypically wrong with OM into one person, it would be Lane Kiffin. He would be perfect

They will hire some shite coach and we'll do this all again in three years. It's the Ole Miss way.

Nick Saban and everyone that works for him are Jimmy Sexton's guys. So?

Regarding Rich Rod:
quote:

"Ole Miss seems to me like it's always been a special place," Rodriguez said. "I don't know what Ole Miss' issues are right now, but I hear a lot of great things about the university and the area.

I'd certainly be interested in talking to Ole Miss."

I honestly don't get all the Gruden love. If he was a good coach he would still be coaching. What has he really done?

There isn't a lot of Gruden love. Seriously. Like four people have suggested him ever. He sucks balls and most football fans know that.

Nutt is a Sexton guy and he used 2 good seasons to milk an extra $6 million out of the OM athleteic dept

Ole Miss is a coaching graveyard. Doubt they get anything but an assistant.

If he would have kept winning it wouldn't have been a problem.

Nick Saban's sucking bazillions out of Alabama's athletics department, but they don't care because he wins. If Kirby Smart wants to take every dime we have but WINS FOOTBALL GAMES then I won't care.

We can pay in the top 20 coaching salaries, some non-assistants will, at the very least, give us consideration.

I told you guys to be ready for the "whos who" of Greatest coaches in the world. They truly believe that they can get who they want. I just can't stop laughing because they did this same exact thing before they hired Coach O. It was the greatest list of coaches you ever could possibly see and Coach O was the winner. In all seriousness, There are very few if any reputable coaches that would even consider going to Ole Mrs.

What about Del Rio, that could be doable and would not be a bad hire at all

Rodriguez would be the perfect hire imo. I think he is the only name being tossed out that runs a system that could come in and win immediately with the players currently on the roster. I could really see Mackey, Scott and Brassell flourishing in his system.
