I mean, everyone on the planet knew the ESPY's were a joke, but awarding a 3 point underdog who wins a game at home "best upset", like what.

well it was the first time in 10 years and 9th time in 62 tries, so i guess that would qualify as a pretty big upset

Ok bud... Feel free to associate that with USC. You'll probably sign a bunch of white dudes from Ohio.

People view that flag differently. I'll stand up for it. Some soldiers fought, not because of racism or slavery, but because it was their homeland. It's southern history. It's american history, and it's freedom of speech. Most will never see that flag the way I do. Sorry if you judge me and crucify as a racist for supporting it.

Look kid, we get your little soapbox but the fact of the matter is, the flag does more harm than good. Period.

In today's PC society, context doesn't matter. People see what they're told to see. And in the case of the confederate flag, the narrative is now a racist one.

Continue to do as you wish, but you're fighting a losing battle and hurting the university at the same time.

That's the part that got me so mad. He's too stupid to see the way it harms the school he claims to like.

I don't give a shite what you do at home, but leave it there.

Really? The flag harmed someone? Did the pole fall on them?

I would think an unranked Ark.team blanking a top ten Ole Miss team was more of a upset than than a ranked team beating another ranked team.

You are the worst kind of conservative. The dumb poor kind.

Sheeple? Okay Glen Beck.

You're the retarded cousin the rest of us in the GOP like to pretend don't exists until we need your vote. Well, the 5 of you that aren't felons or too fricking loony to function long enough to vote.

Glad your family escaped the trailer park so you have a basement to live in.

You are not a conservative. You're a politically correct little punk who does not have enough spine to stand up against the criticism of the left.

Integrity, honor, courage, and honesty are foreign concepts to little asswipes like you.

I'm as conservative as the next guy, and I like the southern heritage and old way, USDA yards yada, but you can't risk 'offending' someone (as ridiculous as that sounds) in today's world.

I wouldn't expect some kid that just graduated two months ago to realize this. That guy was probably a fresh-soph when the TSWRA controversy was going on, and was probably one that kept defending it too until the university did the right thing and put a stop to that too

America must either push back on the perpetually 'offended' or hoist another flag.

My rent is more than your welfare check. I've got a bigger apartment than some of the Grizzlies in my building.

My, soon to be, mortgage is double your welfare check.

(ETA: I know how douchey that sounds)

The fact you think this is a political issue says enough. Ole Miss has been trying to get away from that flag long before this recent shite. I'm not worried about people's feelings. I'm worried about the negative impact it has on my school and the state it's in.

I do too, but people (read: retard kids with the occasional dumbass adult) would have quit acting like morons, then we'd still have it around.

Sort of a "this is why we can't have nice things" kind of arguement

I was one of those morons. Not exactly proud of it, but with the way Jones handled it you could pretty much see how it was going to go. The chant was pretty messed up and needed to go, but I just hate that's how he did it.
