Ole Miss was very unlucky in the LSU game.

LSU needed a couple of miracles just to have a chance to pull of a miracle at the end. I don't understand how anyone can say that Ole Miss was lucky, if anything, they were really unlucky Saturday.
What say the SECrant?

I agree that Ole Miss outplayed LSU and were unlucky not to win more comfortably. After they were in the situation they were in however, the did catch a break. The better team won though.

I'll take a net even to the bank for a 25-23 victory.

I'd say it really doesn't matter. Our coaching sucks, and pretty much everyone is in agreement with that. However, I don't think that makes Houston "I jump up and down like a giddy schoolgirl" Nutt exactly Albert fricking Einstein or anything.
No sour grapes here- we deserved to lose. But I'm curious as to how OM will be when Snead and Dex are gone.

did you not notice the absolute atrocious play calling or the 6 or 7 other major game management blunders that Miles presided over prior to the 15 seconds of fail? Yet somehow we still had a shot to win the game? And you're really going to say Ole Miss wasn't lucky? Are you drunk, high or just stupid?

It should have been 10-0 Ole Miss in the 1st qtr. Because of two consecutive bullshite calls, we have to kick a field goal and boom, its 7-3. If we go up 10-0, there is no close game.

And if we had a monkey coaching instead of Les Miles we would have won 31-10. Two can play that game.

We got lucky, but ya'll got lucky earlier on in the game to set up the situation.
I'm not complaining about not winning by more. I'm just happy we won, and I imagine most Ole Miss fans feel the same way.

That's like saying if we got the PP interception call against Bama, we go on to win. That's a pretty bold fricking assumption. It was the first quarter. Give me a break. You call it lucky we were in the game, i call it you all tried to give victory away.
Seriously- if you all lose that game, you probably want to hang Houston Nutt right now. He's a dumb arse for going for two in the second quarter btw.

He's also a dumbass for never losing to LSU.

Well he has lost to LSU before. But yes, ANY dumbass would be better than our dumbass right now.

Yes I am. Ole Miss was incredibly unlucky. Did you notice they had not 1, but 2 touchdowns called back after a chickenshit block in the back call on the QB on an interception return, plus a PF for the player jumping into the endzone, plus the play where the defender forced the WR out of bounds, but they call illegal touching. If, and I say if, all the calls were correct, that is a little bad luck, especially the illegal touching.
Did you notice the blocked FG returned for a TD? Hell if the kicker just misses it, this game is very different, but the 2 previous TD's called back plus a blocked FG returned for a TD is bad luck.
Did you notice that LSU failed to move the ball at all in the second half until the final 3 minutes of the game, down by 8 points? Did you notice the miracle onsides kick that LSU recovered? That is what you call unlucky, the ball didn't even bounce. Did you notice the miracle 4th and 26 that LSU got lucky on? A hail mary completion is always luck.
I'm sure I missed a few if any Ole Miss fans want to fill in the blanks.

Well, it's also insanity later. Just let it out man. I've been letting it our for the last 24 hours to anyone within ear shot. Seriously, I was off the Miles bandwagon about two weeks ago. But now I'm determined to get everyone else on the negatiger bandwagon with me.

lord knows Ole Miss fans view this win as if they actually won the entire SEC....
