Ole Miss & ESPN are working on TV accommodations for Rebel fans for the Texas game.
Not quite sure what accommodations they are referring to, but the game is a ways off.

Jeebus Ole Miss fans are dense.
We understand the home team has the TV rights. The point is no one in the fricking country will be able to watch your game. Do you not want the publicity?
Stop being ho hum because you should be pissed. This game should be regional or national television, and they decided to put it on LHN despite the fact it fricks you over.
Wake up retards.

Also the fact that they have to make accommodations for you should be a pretty big sign that you are getting the shaft.

That kinda sucks, I was looking forward to it. Since LHN is under ESPN umbrella, couldn't they air it on say ESPN2 in our region?

they could but they won't
It's going to end up on a Mississippi ABC affiliate like the Iowa State game last year.

Wow, Ole Miss. Just wow. Pathetic y'all let them bully you into this. Welcome to doing business with the longhorns. Trustworthy business partners
One game of bullying, or decades of bullying.
I think Ole Miss beats A&M here.

Where have you seen us not pissed? We are. The fact is this is another thing left over from the Pete Boone administration and there's nothing we can do about it. NOTHING

And you have to assume that Texas would never sign a contract with a "No LHN" clause.
And the question becomes, does this situation cause all potential future opponents to demand that clause.
And maybe more importantly to the rest, is it possible OOC may do the same over the SECN?

You really think FSU or ND or Oregon or any big school is going to agree to a home and home with Texas now after this bullshite?
Hell no!

I'm sure ESPN3 will be carrying it
LHN games are never broadcast on ESPN3. If they did that no one would call their carrier. It isn't going to happen. The game will be blacked out and you'll have to watch it on justin or something

I was thinking the same exact thing. I'm not up on the details but regarding football won't SECN pretty much carry games that are lower tier anyway? Say a LSU/WKU or UA/Sanford type deal? In other words let's say the Ole Miss home game with UT was 2014 instead of 2012...wouldn't this be on an ESPN main channel, not SEC Network.

This is the CLASSIC bait and switcheroo by DeLoss Dodds, and the burnt-orange buttmunchers.
Will ANYONE schedule an OOC game with these snakes again? This has to be the final straw for the big D1 programs.

Freakin Texas Tech didn't agree to be on that Chanel.
In fairness to Ole Miss, the Tech game was already scheduled in conference, not OOC, so there was no prior negotiation. Tech had more power to say no.

some of their fans still think they will get ND, OSU and USC to come play them regardless of this
