Late late game in Tiger Stadium against the arch rival.

It doesn't get better.

Nothing like a post-sun down sec kick off in tiger stadium. It should be hyped

LSU will win. oM defense is not playing well and Arkansas may be the straw that breaks the camels back. Chad Kelly is a great QB but defense still reigns king in the SEC.

All I know is the weather will be epic! Sunny high 75 and in the 60's come game time

I am soon looking forward to this. Tailgating all day in beautiful weather and then hopefully a good game that night.

I was CERTAIN OM would blow Arkansas off the field. I was wrong. OM looked like they didn't care. They were hard for Alabama. But looked distracted and disjointed against ARKY.

If Ole Miss gets hard by Saturday, they will beat LSU. If they roll into BR like they played in Fayetteville... they lose by double digits

I really didn't know Miss was having such trouble in pass pro until yesterday.

2nd most sacks allowed in the SEC if I'm not mistaken?

LSU Offense vs. Ole Miss Defense:

LSU will have to be more dynamic in the passing game to truly expose Ole Miss. Ole Miss has big corners, so the size of LSU's WRs is familiar to what they practice against. Ole Miss is going to sell out against the run with 5 down-lineman formations most likely. Ole Miss is weak on the perimeters defensively. Jet sweeps and off-tackle is where you want to be against their crappy linebackers.

Ole Miss Offense vs. LSU Defense

Expect more commitment to running the ball from Ole Miss, despite their general lack of ability to do so. If I'm self-scouting Ole Miss, I'm going to try to gamble slightly to stop the running game early, bc Freeze knows he can't just throw every down and win. He'll want to at least threaten the run on early downs in the 1st half.

In the passing game, Ole Miss has the ability to expose LSU's secondary through route running schemes and size, because they've pretty much had their way with everyone they've played, despite the 6/7 drops against Arky. I don't think Adams can shut-down Engram, but LSU might want to try it anyway. Doing so would keep him out of the box, though which hurts the run defense to some extent.

Intangibles:

Don't expect Ole Miss to not show up ready to play. This is just the type of game where Freeze's teams can rebuff the narrative. LSU should be ready and hyped, but this is a big leap in opponent from Mizz and Southern Miss.

Score Prediction:

30-28 LSU

But what if they blow their load quickly? Will they stay interested?
