The only immediate conclusion you can draw is that Ole Miss has a PR disaster on their hands this week. So far though the administration has handled it well and the vigil last night was a nice response by the students.

It's a start, but it is society's job to use public repudiation to make sure things like this never happen again.
Nothing works better than shaming those at fault (Yes, we all know not ALL Ole Miss students/fans are at fault).
