Just funny you think a team you beat is better but a team you lost to is worse. Thats some interesting intellectual thinking. Must be a Mississippi thing.
Let me ask you this. Do you think the best team always wins? Or the team that plays the best on the day/night the game is played wins? And I'm not saying we are better or worse than LSU, just that the rest of the season remains to be seen.
And FWIW I've never said for sure that OM should be ahead of LSU. This whole topic was started trying to explain rationale behind how the committee was ranking.

The committee is stupid. Ole miss has lost 2 in a row and they are fricking ole miss. Doesn't matter they will finish 4-4 in sec.

You are not factoring in the big losses. You are too focused on one game. You must understand that two separate teams do not have the same exact schedule. Not to mention the many variables that comes with a football season. You simply cannot be this dense

I just looked closely at his profile and i think we may be getting trolled by an alter.

My point also. You didn't score. Therefore it does not help you that you got some yards and consistently blew it. Why should it?
Did you even read the MSU fan posts I was responding to?

So we are to want the committee to rank teams according to their individual beliefs and not use what happens on the field to help them determine who is better.
Guys, i am playing devils advocate here. My point is to show that there is bias everywhere and everyone can give excuses or reasons for anything. Even when they take two equal situations but yet come to two different conclusions. Its comical to watch people try to explain their own biases and team prejudices.

I want them to look at a total body of work and not just one game.

The moment when you saw the rankings :^)

To answer your question. Yes I believe the best team does not always win.
And i agree the body of work, SOS and wins at the end mean the most.

Yes. The sports world is biased and favors Ole Miss per usual. Do you know how retarded that sounds?
Posted on 11/4/14 at 8:02 pm to Skeeterpop
This is why I think H2H breaks ties for same records especially when one team loses their best player and is not as good as they were because of it.

Then we are in agreement. For the most part.

So LSU is a better team now and should be ranked higher. Correct?
Posted on 11/4/14 at 8:05 pm to Skeeterpop
Yes. In the standings we shall have it so. Meanwhile in the rankings we will continue on.

You better not lose this weekend. That Ole Miss bias will run over you too

They were the better team that night. We were much better against Auburn. I don't know if they are definitively. I have no problem if the committee wants to rank them higher. If they win saturday they should be ranked ahead of both of us though.

I like some subjectiveness in the committee. Thats the human element and important to me. I just like picking at fans who argue the same facts differently based on their team biases. Pot stirring you may call it. But its interesting to watch the human race rationalize irrational thinking.
