Done did this thread 2 months ago. We're all Vandy fans to start the season. the Ole Miss grind is gonna be bad, but Vandy can stop it before it even starts. (July and August will be unbearable here)

Ole Miss has some toughies early.

Come on guy. So your worst case scenario is better than last year's record with a tougher road schedule?

Well yeah I guess you are right 6-6 is the worst case scenario because we lose two games we should have won ... WAOM n' such.

Doesn't UT have must win games to open the season against Austin Peay and WKU?

Both seem like losses to me

The Vandy-Ole Miss game is a big game for both programs to start the season. Should be a good one.

Why is everyone claiming Texas as an auto loss? That place is an absolute wreck right now and that's not changing as long as Mack is still running things. They're a 7-5, 8-4 team at best, and they ended last year pretty poorly. They didn't sign a single DL or RB in this year's class. Not to mention the administration wreck that surrounding athletic department.

I'm sure some of the Ags here can confirm this

More than likely these will be our two trap games we win these two you are looking at 8-4 or better...

Lose these two 6-6 or worse

Not really. It's everyone else that's hyping us up, I think a better way to describe the OM posters would be cautiously optimistic.

That's why I had them splitting. Texas is a huge opportunity to plant a flag.

Vandy and Texas are both coin flips that if we go 2-0 could propel us to do some special things. Go 0-2 and we've got a tough road to hoe. 1-1 is most realistic.

Hell Yeah it could be to pick up a road win like that could create the momentum to pick up some W's from some of those coin flip games.

Well frick if you are cgoing to get technical about it then yeah ... BUT do you seriouslly think any self respecting Ole Miss is going to come on the SECr and say there is a chance they could go 12-0.

That's not just a NO but a HELL NAW
