if the tower is in ridgeland then why would it have to be disguised as a part of madisons building code
What makes you think it is part of Madison's building code? What makes you think Ridgeland doesn't itself have such codes? Why, if something is disguised, do you automatically assume the culprit to be government regulation?

Wondering if we'd crossed paths.

I was at MC when it was put up. Mary didn't want a cell phone tower so made them design it like that. Just like the wal mart is brick and we don't have a taco bell because she doesn't like purple.

Mary sounds like a real soup sandwich.

It's in Ridgeland. You want proof?
Google has this cool thing in Maps where if you just type the name of a city/town/whatever, it'll give you a dotted outline of said town's borders. So go to maps.gogle.com and type in "Ridgeland, MS." You'll see dotted lines around Ridgeland.
Now zoom in to where the tower is. Just find I-55 between Madison and Ridgeland. You'll see that it's about 150 yards SOUTH OF THE BORDER OF MADISON AND RIDGELAND GOD DAMMIT IT IS IN RIDGELAND.
ETA: Here's a blog post from the company that moved the tower back from the interstate. They say it's in Ridgeland, and they moved the thing. Just Google "Washington Monument Ridgeland" and you'll get more hits than you can stomach to prove that the stupid fricking tower is not in Madison.

I've never had anything bad happen to me in this city.
I've also spent more time than I should in areas where those things happen.

It was originally in Canton until they moved it to Gluckstadt.
Problem solved.

Yea but it went through Mary when it was designed so that's not correct. I'll trust people and newspapers over google maps but you have fun with that.

I've had my car broken into once. In Oxford. When we were playing Memphis.
Stole my iPod and some other stuff, but left the XM radio. Didn't help that my doors and roof were off.

Dude, I'm a fricking person who, again, used to live there. I'm just as reliable a source as YOU are as far as anecdotes go.
And got any links to some newspaper articles about the tower kthx.

I doubt this is true, but even if she had some input, that does not mean it's in her city.
