Wait until the backlash of folks once the SEC starts airing their games on the SEC Network (like A&M/USCe). It's very possible that the SECN won't be available by every service provider in all of the tv markets.

Doubt it. I can almost promise you that all the major national cable and satellite providers will carry it.

We got the game on primetime ESPN last season. In my opinion, it's selfish on their part.

AT&T U-Verse doesn't, at least not that I'm aware of.

Every major carrier in the South will carry it. Don't be absurd.

The major ones might end up carrying it, but you might have to get the upper tier sports packages to get it in some places. Not everyone has the upper tier packages. Since I live in Alabama, I'm not worried about it. But I bet there will be some places in Texas and Florida that you'll have to have an upper tier package.

I have U-Verse and I get LHN. Although I live in Austin. I'd think that if ESPN and AT&T can get that on the air, they will get SECN on the air too.

All of the Longhorn Steakhouses will be carrying the game.

Actually the fact that 20 million people subscribe to a channel devoted to one single team is pretty impressive. Doubt any other school could pull that off

I'm one of those people. I didn't "subscribe", I bought cable and its part of the package here in Dallas. No one EVER watches that channel unless you are a Texas fan. Nothing EVER comes on it.

Not talking about LHN ( I get that). We were talking about the new SEC Network. We get an SEC game on CUBE 57 here in Houston at 11:20 each Saturday. I think this new SEC Network is something different that Launched in August.

The SEC Network is going to do much better. Its basically going to be what College Football Live! Most of what they talk about is the SEC.

I'm sure Ole Miss "The Season" will be shown as well. Old SEC classics from all the teams. 30/30 on different SEC players. Just a lot more to talk about.

For the Texas game, I'm sure Ole Miss and the Oxford community will have a watch party in the Grove like they did for the Vandy game.

This looked like fun. Just need a bigger screen. Show the game in Vaught Hemingway. That would work.

Why do you think Nebraska, Colorado, Mizzou and aTm are no longer Big 12 members? Texas thinks it IS the Big 12.

Y'all can be pretty obnoxious, but Bama's mentality has always been "how awesome is it to be around and kick arse with the best conference in the nation?" Texas' mentality is "How lucky is the Big 12 that we are here to kick arse and redeem the conference's name?" They're much worse than y'all.

I live in Biloxi and have ATT Uverse, and the LHN is one of the channels. All UT, all the time.
