Caterpillar. you go to Ole Miss. How many people have you heard saying they will change what they say at the end of Dixie?? I'm under the impression that the fans that are offended by it probably don't even stay long enough to hear it. already have "go to hell lsu" in our pregame, definitely don't need it in our postgame.

None. Thats why I said ASB and the University are pushing it. BUT I do know Richard McKay and Nathan Dye, who are both quoted in that article.

ETA: and like Pank said, thats not Dixie.

all the students I know still say "the south will rise again". Saying to hell with LSU is some of the gayest shite of all time. It reminds me of Texas A&M and their man-crush on Texas (even though they obviously will not admit it).

That's just weak...Ole Miss should be better than that. I can understand it from A&M but an SEC school?

Mostly because the south will rise again bothers me.

Also, From Dixie with love is not our fight song.

fricking get your grades up so you can graduate or transfer to LSU.

Its my fourth year...and I love Oxford and I love attending Ole Miss. I grew up in Baton Rouge, thats why I left. Needed something new, so why not go where a lot of pretty girls and good music are.

It is not just me who thinks this about the changes to the song. Many Ole Miss fans think this is stupid as hell too.

oh and go frick yourself.

This reeks of jealousy. I understand that Ole Miss wants to have a big time rival for the sake of national exposure or something, but Ole Miss has not been on LSU's radar for some time now. Ole Miss's obsession with LSU is pathetic, and is comparable to an ex girlfriend that wont stop texting you years after the break up.

If it was Alabama or a school that could at least claim a semblance of a rivalry in the past 10 years, I could understand.

I was just getting on to you about not knowing the difference between The fight song and From Dixie with love.

Hmmm....how aggy of you. Another reason why you will always be the "B school" when compared to the great Louisisana State University. BOOM!

By the way, I am messing around...kinda. So don't flip out Rebel fans.

Sounds like a compliment to me. If a rival school wants to include you in their fight song you must be doing something right.
