Exactly. That team is not back. Losing 2 NFL quality lineman plus other starters on a team that does not plug in NFL caliber talent is being glossed over by the ole miss fans. Not to mention the fact that getting hyped up by the media will put a target on your team. In the end you are a 8-9 win team once again.

Please keep telling yourself that. It will be so much sweeter to see all yall come into Oxford cocky as hell just to see your ridiculously low expectations for how bad the rebels are being shattered.
There is so much OM chest beating in here that is was worth one more "morning after" bump.

I'll give you the typical answer from other schools on your thread:

LSU- Ole Miss ain't shite aint ever gonna be shite

Arky- Houston Nutt is a a-hole

Gumps- Ole Who?

MSU- I sure do miss Jackie

Rebels- What do the last 5 years have to do with this one?

Here is the season ending bump. Congrats Rebs on your 8-4 season. Seems most of us dumbasses had it picked just right.

If the hype machine starts up for Sneads senior season, will you buy in again??

I say 6-6 this year, final.

What a load of Nutt-crap. What are you some Springdale Nutt hater? This is Nutt's third year to get his players in place and he has landed some exceptional recruiting classes, at least on paper until they can't get into Ole Miss.

Nonetheless, his recruiting at Ole Miss is been nothing short of remarkable they so anything less than a strong run at the SEC West / Overall SEC Title will be a dismal failure. Rebel Fans can expect no more that two losses and maybe only one this year and for years to come. Just on potential alone the Rebels should be a pre-season top 10 team.

Could you explain to me why he wouldn't come back? He had an awful year and surely would not go that high in the draft. If he comes back he could improve and go higher. I just think had he had numbers like last year he would have left but since he didnt he stays. Just my opinion though

Well I think this was expected to be a very strong QB draft, and after Bradford's injury and Tebows "not so Tebow-like" performance this year, he might actually be higher on the boards than you'd think. He will likely come back, but hes got the size and strength to do it at the next level...I'm just saying I wouldn't be shocked if he left.
