No flame meant, but how are yall Baseball Champs? I understand that we share the same record, but LSU beat yall 2 out of 3. Is this like a co-champ deal?

yeah both ole miss and LSU will receive trophies at the tournament in hoover.. personally i only give credit to LSU because, even though it was a cose series in baton rouge, you still won 2 of 3.. so congrats to both LSU and Ole Miss for being co champions of the WEST and OVERALL.. but all that matters.. Is congratulations LSU for the #1 seed

Gotya...I couldn't care less if we go 0-2 in the SEC tournament. It is all about the Regionals and Super Regionals (which I will be extremly worried about).

yeah i LSU has already locked up hosting a regional in my opinion.. as has ole miss and probably florida and bama.. i think georgia and arkansas need to do well to get one

I find it odd that an Ole Miss fan would draw attention to their baseball "title." They should be embarrassed. On the other hand, there is that ridiculous 2003 SEC west division champs banner. They apparently have no shame.

Great post. Not only is LSU the true champion of the SEC, Florida is the #2 seed in Hoover, meaning regardless of their fewer wins, they're more entitled to the SEC crown than we are!
