Home team gets the calls and why this is I wish someone could explain.
Uh oh, something's wrong. Bama lost. Give them a mulligan.

For the record,
Bama shot 10 free throws on 5 LSU fouls in the last 1 minute+ of the game in Tuscaloosa as LSU wsa trying to close the gap of the Bama lead.
So, for the first 39 minutes it was 23 to 14 in free throws.
But facts are that home teams get the calls. Bama no exception.

37 free throws for LSU
19 for Bama
SEC basketball at its finest.
I agree. Same thing happened to LSU the last time we played.
------------
Thats my point ,these SEC refs are clearly not up to the challenge which IMO is why the SEC has such bad teams.
In other leagues they call the game much more consistant and players get better , in the SEC one second 3 steps is OK the next dragging a foot is a travel.
Over the back is hardly ever called but in OT Steel is on a 5.7 point guard and they call over the back when the ball bounced over both of their heads.
You go 20 game in the SEC and never see a team shoot 20 FT then all of a sudden a team gets 37.
To much rough housing in the SEC IMO but thats the way they call it....Then you get 29 fouls in one game.

I think Releford just wore down I noticed he wasn't moving nearly as much without the ball late as he was early. Played a hell of a game.

Bama has solved their offensive woes
Yeah, by getting to play a 55 minute game.

We had some down the stretch in this game as well. What was the free throw difference in regulation?

First of all you're a moron.
Second, you get that many fouls when it's a game that goes three overtimes.

Stop blaming the fricking refs. They didn't stop Bama from rebounding and taking possessions from LSU, Bama did that.

I note that butthurt TX Tiger didn't mention I said LSU won the game the refs didn't give it to them.
Which they did. I give them credit they didn't fold and could have again and again. Neither team choked LSU just won it.
My comments were about officiating in general and particularly the SEC.

This, we dumped a 10 point lead in 3 minutes. Not the refs fault.

Bama fans should never complain about the refs. EVER. Especially today when every time there was a borderline call it went bamas way and a phantom foul call kept LSU from winning in the first OT.
