him and Paul had some sort of falling out and I believe he will never call his show again. He still calls the other shows on the station and only talks about "bammers" as always.
who was the guy who called in and said it was his anniversary and Paul told them to go to some bar that also served food and he would pick up the tab. The guy and his wife spent $450 with $300 of it being on liquor and every time he calls Paul gives him shite for being such an alchoholic?

When I was little and my parents took me with them, I used to go up and ask random old men eating dinner at the Country Club with their wives to dance with me. There was a band every Friday night that played songs like Bye Bye Blackbird. Apparently he was my favorite target. Mind you, it wasn't at Shoal Creek, or else I'd have had Condi as my competition.

Awesome. I still think he caught FAR too much shite over the golf course thing...and I take every chance I get to mention that one of the most powerful woman in the world is a member.

I agree... especially compared to the rules that existed with other clubs of the same caliber at the time. I think a lot of it was because it was in Birmingham.

Exactly. I knew a close (much younger) relative of his in college. It still pisses me off how Shoal Creek was essentially blackballed from hosting majors for the last 20 years and was scapegoated for all the rest of the membership policy problems around the country because of one unfortunate comment. Despite making amazing strides in its membership over the last several years, it took until the last year before a golf writer even bothered to acknowledge that progress. It's ridiculous that Shoal Creek either hasn't hosted another PGA Tour major or hosted a regular tour event. Such an awesome classical golf course that still ranks among the Top 50 or 60 courses in America.

The gentleman you are referring to is DJ K-Dub from Chillville. He is a member of the SOS clique, along with Legend and the other DJ. They have a tailgate set up somewhere on the quad.
