Of course. We all understand how great MA and Arky are.

Good. We just haven't been there for a while.

10 Elite 8:
1941, 1945, 1949, 1958, 1978, 1979, 1990, 1991, 1994, 1995
6 Final Fours:
1941, 1945, 1978, 1990, 1994, 1995

Of course, Kentucky puts us to shame.

Face it. Arky hasn't been relevant in years... you guys should stop acting like you're a premiere brand these days... when you came into the league not very many people took bball very seriously so you got that instant success... ran off your coach and haven't been much since.

Bama LSU and MSU have pretty much been the lead dawgs for a while now (formerly of the SECw) I don't even know if Arky should expect much more these days. Bama is just as young as you are and we have a great coach... It might not get any better for y'all anytime soon.

I agree. We'll have to wait and see what MA can do with this team. He is a pretty good recruiter. Time will tell but he definitely deserves a chance. I don't know of many Arkansas fans who would disagree.

I'd have to go with Kentucky and Florida.

It may just be me, but I don't see Arky Basketball getting back to its former glory for another 5 to 8 years - and that is if Mike Anderson can get it done.
I can see appearances in the NCAA tourney, but I don't see us making a run at the title anytime before then.

I think they believe if enough people accuse us of being delusional, then we're all delusional.

Take off 30 years, and this looks like Ole Miss football.

Taking off 30 years takes away half our years period as a basketball program.

Hell, we started our bball program about 20 years after everyone else.

My point was that your major accomplishments are getting a bit crusty. They aren't Ole Miss crusty yet, but they are getting there. In a few years you won't have any players that were even born in 1995.

Bobby Knight said the 2nd best team was Bama.

I'm sure he meant it. Had y'all not played Indiana early, you could have perhaps made it to the Elite 8. At best, they would have beat Alabama in the Regional final anyway. I'm not saying Alabama wasn't good. They were pretty damn good for a 3 year stretch but earlier, you were trying to say that Arkansas doesn't compare to Alabama historically and you couldn't be more wrong.

? LMAO ole traveling Day with his jump travel. Not 1 good NBA player proves this team was weak.

BTW, Todd Day's 1991 team (34-4) beat 4th seed Alabama by 23 points (93-70) to advance to the Elite 8.

The second best team vs Todd Day and Williamson LMAO .

Are you trying to say that Alabama's 1976 team was better than Arkansas in the early '90's, or Williamson's Arkansas team that won the National Championship in 94, and made the Final 4 in '95? Seriously...

I think they fail to realize that you aren't relevant after 17 years of irrelevance. Arkansas isn't the same brand as it was in the early 90s.

Of course we haven't done jack shite in a while, but
I was merely explaining to KittyKat that Alabama has even less overall jack shite in basketball than us. Are you wanting a cripple fight? Dayum!

For the most part, Alabama fans don't act like we have some nationally prominent program. We've had good teams and good years, but we aren't nor do we claim to be a powerhouse like some Arkansas fans want to think of their program.

Alabama is an average basketball program, just like Arkansas.
