Texas A&M will be the home team against Arkansas on Saturday, Sept. 29 at a site to be determined. The SEC office stressed that the 2012 schedule is not based on any other previous or future scheduling formats. One other non-conference contract that has been signed is a road game against SMU on Saturday, Sept. 15 at Ford Stadium on the SMU campus.

Games are still subject to change to accommodate television. 2012 TEXAS A&M FOOTBALL SCHEDULE (As of Dec. 28, 2011)

Take your time. You have all summer to predict AU.

South Carolina....who did you lose from the west to make room for Missouri? You would have come to BR next year under the old format anyway. Did you basically trade a home game against State for a home game against Missouri?

Some of the dates are different, but for LSU the only difference in opponents is swapping the UK road game for the A&M road game.

i think its more of the absence of certain teams, not the presence.

Arkansas just lost Tennessee and rotated Vandy for Kentucky. Everything else is the same.

It is what it is I guess no use in complaining about our shcedule or UGA's. Would have been nice to be @Mizzou and us get our return game from State. We have to beat who is on our schedule. We need to learn how to beat Arkansas anyhow as they own us. If we want to go places we have never been we have to beat the best.

Yeah. Everyone on our rivals board kept saying we dropped MSU and picked up @LSU, which isn't the case. We were scheduled to go @LSU anyway, but now Mizzou is coming here rather than MSU so its no big deal. Both are solid teams but both winnable, especially at home.

Safe to say Kentucky won't win a Conference game.

Look at A&M's November Strech... We're getting our initiation. BTW it's hard to admit but Mizzou has owned us at home the last two years. So realistically could lose 4 games to finish the season.

At least its not Ole Miss's schedule.

Even their FCS opponent UCA figures to be salty next year.

Plus they don't even get to play Ole Miss.

I'm ok with LSU's. Only one home conference game in the first two months is a little odd, but there weren't any major changes. I love November home games anyway.

Dont get why UGA was moved so they play Mizzou. That now leaves us with a bye in week 2 which would upset me most about the schedule. We need to be ready to break contracts and pay money to those schools to make sure we get the Nov.3 as our bye.

Vandy looks to go 3 in a row over Ole Miss in 2012, and 5 out of 6.

Really, the rise of Vandy, combined with the west becoming a meat-grinder motherfricker, and hosting Texas...all in the same year?

That's pretty bad. I don't know if it is 2-10 bad, but its still not going to be fun.
