but this team is too good to just blow up. i can't get behind that. i just can't. we will deal with the fall out later but they deserve to be given every chance to do wahtever they can.
this is really the first time we have had an O line a running game and a passing game all at the same time. let the kids do what they do. if that cost us some recruits this year frick it.

Not with a senior quarterback. They should expect a decent year, but in actuality, even with Petrino, I am having a tough time seeing how they're even going to be as good as they were last year. Davis back helps, but lost a lot of playmakers at receiver.
And while the spring game may not be the best representative, who the hell has those types of offensive numbers unless it's nintendo? The defense is horrid.

we have talent at WR. just like we had talent behind williams when he went pro. it just could not see the field because we had NFL WR's. but i'm not very worried about our WR play it will be good enough. maybe not exactly what we had but it's good enough. and what we lose there we make up by having 3 legit RB's and a real offensive line that is not cabbage patched together at the last minute.

Not even just that. The pressure in the SEC far outweighs UNC and the ACC. Could he handle that again? He had trouble in the past.

Debatable. I know you'll have some drafted but as far as NFL prospects, they're not exactly guys that are certain to make it.

Whoever gets this job is going to have a crazy amount of pressure. The fan base is going to go ballistic if we fall off immediately.

I know. It's a tough situation. Coming in after a guy that y'all regarded so highly is going to be tough. He's had some mental breakdowns.
