I don't know of any points that talk so, yeah, in a way, you are still correct.

Incorrect. Indiana-Purdue is a cross division yearly game

Right, which hasn't happened yet.

When the Big Ten expands to 14 teams in 2014 and the conference realigns into geographically based divisions, Indiana and Purdue will be placed in opposite divisions (respectively East and West).

However, the Indiana–Purdue game will be the only protected cross-division rivalry in the new setup, ensuring that the Old Oaken Bucket will still be contested every year.

If CFB was fair, UGA would have at least played in 3 National titles under Richt. But life sucks, so does UGA's luck, and that's just how it is.
Luck ain't got much, if anything to do with it, pal. You need to read all the catchy little definitions of luck....they're true.

No one cares about UT and UA save for fans of those schools. That's my opinion. I have not watched that game in years and years.

TSIO and DSOR is not cared about by anyone besides those schools involved. So those 4 obviously voted for it, plus the little 4 who are worried about getting a tougher opponent which could cost them bowl eligibility, then I would say two other schools played the politician role and voted with the majority. My point is dont act like Bama or any school is high and mighty voting for what is best for the conference, they are all voting what is best for themselves

& Les wanting to play Kentucky or Vandy yearly ISN'T thinking about himself?

Why do some of you idiots think that Spurrier is whining? He's just telling it like it is.

Funny. He NEVER brought this up when he coached @ Florida.

Blow up the perma opponents
The SEC would be so much better without the two cross divisional rivalry games

They don't need to blow-up any traditional rivalries.

All they need to do is align the divisions properly and all of this would be a mute point.

The problem is that they have the divisions aligned in such a way as to satisfy basically three, maybe four, programs.

Align the divisions geographically and let the chips fall where they may.

Draw a line, north to south, that intersects Vandy and Bama. Send Vandy, and everything west of the line to the West, Bama, and everything east of the line to the East.

You solve all of the rivalry issues between UT and Bama, Auburn and UGA, Bama and Auburn.

You solve the rivalry issue between Ole Miss and Vandy.

It would be done that quickly and all of this debate would be over.

Florida and LSU dgaf if they play every year. MSU and Kentucky dgaf if they play every year. SCAR dgaf if they play Arkansas, Mizzou or A&M every year. We've got an older rivalry with Ole Miss if anything.

A&M would get to play Mizzou every year, no problem. Arkansas would get to play A&M and Mizzou every year.

All of the scheduling problems would be solved instantly.

WRONG!!!

1 - There's NO WAY the SEC will put TN/Vandy or Ala./Aub. in OPPOSITE divisions. Their in-state rivalry game will prevent that or FORCE a cross-division rivalry.
2. If you flip flop Vandy/Ala., you now have a 4-2 power surge for the SEC East. Sides aren't balanced
3. MSU/Kentucky is another long-historied rivalry. Don't think they wan't that to be thrown out for your sake.
