He's a FRESHMAN with an inconsistent left tackle to navigate around. Nico will improve gane by game..You could see the lights coming on a bit more late against Florida. It's a process.
You just can't evaluate talent. Just like all the idiots telling Bama to bench Milroe last year right before he went on to beat UGA and win the SEC.

We are 2-1 in league play and two of those were early road games in big stage environments with a freshman at QB..We will only get better each and every game.

The only stats that matter were the multiple late drives to win the game. Our entire offense was in a funk ibut is getting more comfortable so stfu.
We have a lot of positive momentum going into this Bama game. I expect a dominant performance this week.

Well shite, using that as the defining metric so do we then! I expect a dominant performance this week based on the multiple drives to win the game yesterday, which is a stat that you cannot argue with because is is, and i quote, "the only stats that matter"!

Not defending Nico because he has made some really dumb decisions the past couple of weeks along with some poor throws, but this OL has been killing any rhythm this offense tries to get in and the receivers have not been doing Nico any favors either imo.
Nimrod absolutely killed a couple of drives with drops and I’m baffled why he’s getting more playing time than guys like Thornton, Brazzell and Matthews. I like Squirrel but I’m not sure why Nico feels the need to force feed him like he’s Jalin Hyatt

Matthews needs all first team reps with Thornton Bru and Brazell.
Nimrod and Squirrel are the definition of mediocrity.
Heupel needs to play talent over experience more at that position because squirrel and nimrod despite being experienced...aint really getting it done.

Lol yeah he is very mediocre and that last drop when Nimrod was wide open and would’ve put us in FG range late was terrible. I hope Heupel doesn’t have that unwavering blind loyalty to upperclassmen like Fulmer did. Letting your 5* freshman WR ride the pine while Nimrod gets 7 targets per game is a very bad look.

Because when we do that we then collapse the pocket only to dive at the QB and either (a) miss him completely or (b) slap him in the head and get a 15 yard penalty.
