It was the coach’s first season. Those players sucked. They were terrible before the coach got there.
Nick Saban went 6-6 his first season at Alabama. Good thing Bama didn’t fire him for cause. I’m sure he “bullied” a few players and assistant coaches as well.

It sounds like you're trying to project your own life onto him.
people did that when we fired Frank Martin. dude went to one tournament in 10 years and folks were upset because we fired a bully. They justify it as " he built men" ...no he was just an a-hole bully who didnt win a lot of games.
