I'm impressed by the dislike for men wearing football jerseys on this board. I don't wear one to the games I go to but this board is populated by saints and falcons fans (who seem to wear nothing but jerseys to football games)... so what's the deal?

At least its not a bow tie and tweed jacket with brown patches on the elbows

Leave tweed out of this. It never hurt anyone.

The general consensus is that wearing NFL jerseys is acceptable, although I wouldn't do it.

College jerseys shouldn't be worn be a grown man, because the person that you're representing is pretty much a kid, and its creepy.

Also, all the poors that are from Mississippi don't make it to college. There's a bunch of old money that dominates the state. Mississippi probably has one of the biggest, if not the biggest, class disparities in the country.

Not a fan of tweed, but to each their own. It's the way I feel about jerseys. I could really care less what another adult is wearing (as long as they are fully clothed).

I wear jerseys to game. Granted, I pair them with shorts or a jean skirt when it's hotter outside, and a nice pair of jeans when it's colder. I've also been known to rock a hoodie and/or a baseball hat to a football game.

Tunica was the poorest area of America before they built the casinos. I've personally stimulated the economy there several times, I think its better than donating to those bullshite starving children commercials.

It is always funny seeing a 300 lb Irish 45 year old wearing 132 pound DeSean Jackson's jersey

This picture was taken very close to The Grove. I guess God doesn't shine his collared light on everyone...

so the issue is being too emotionally invested in a guy who is too young? maybe adults shouldn't go to high school football games then.

And if the same kid went to the MLB instead of playing for a college football team you could wear his jersey to the game? what about the NBA? People have been wearing Lebron and Kobe jerseys since they were 18 years old

That's not necessarily my opinion, I hate jerseys all around. That is just the argument that is always used when NFL jerseys are brought up.

I don't really care if other people wear jerseys, although I do think it's weird. I just hate it when the jersey wearer says, "I'm just trying to support my team". Oh, I wasn't aware I hadn't been supporting my team all these years because I choose not to wear a jersey.

That stack of house trailers is a picture of an outdoor theater in Amsterdam. Meaning "the Netherlands." Meaning "not very close to The Grove."

Troll better.
