Bama will get holding called because when the O Line gets beat, they hold. It’s advantageous to take a penalty and have a 1st and 20 than take a sack and have a 2nd and 16.

Really getting pitiful to see a once proud auburn fan base resort to this. Forget the horrible play calling, the horrible 3rd down %, being out gained 500+ to like 280. Half of that on 2 plays. Asking nix to throw late n the half instead of taking the 3 and the lead at halftime is one example of many as to why Auburn lost. And holding wasn’t one of them. Should have been a blow out. Kudos to Steele for keeping it close.

Do any of you AU crybabies not remember 2006? Affectionately referred to as Grand Theft Auburn? There were at least 8 horrible calls in that game including picking up the flag on the PI at then end of the game.
