So, your main concern is that there are intelligent people ranking the schools?

s it your position then that there is no intelligent southerners?

Really? Where id I say or even insinuate that? If you can find a ranking data base from a Southerner I would be happy to look at it.

Great. Was it the best ranked school using that criteria(Forbes and US News)? How many schools ranked higher than your school is from the Northeast?

Yeah I forgot Dartmouth and Cornell. But make him answer M.I.T. as well. I can't talk to him anymore.

So hard to believe based on your inability to understand the basic difference between a graduate and an undergrad.

That they do not exist, does not change the fact that the rankings are compiled using criteria developed to favor Ivy League Schools. I think real education is not necessarily act/sat numbers but the practical development of students to be a productive member of society. The true test is the conribution a student makes to science, arts and mankind at the conclusion of a students college experience.

The inability was yours, in understanding the hypocrisy of your coaches "adjusted" policy.

Because the Ivy League does not produce productive members of society?

Shall we count the number of Supreme Court Justices, Presidents, CEOs of companies that came from the Ivy League compare to Vanderbilt and Duke?

We finally agree on something.

But why would you, as an educated individual, call someone a Yankee based on username like you did with NYCauburn and myself today?

If you really went to a top 20 school. Why would you do that?

Smart understands the fundamental difference between an undergrad and a graduate, which destroys any idea of hypocrisy. Most everyone else on this board understands that distinction as well. You don't. That's the issue.

Aren't you supposed to argue for the south? Yet you make a point for the north. Great job.

But athletics director Greg McGarity, after meeting with Smart about the Turman matter, said the school’s “stance” on transfer restrictions had been “adjusted.”

My point is that the rankings are compiled largly by graduates of the very schools they are ranking...of course there is some bias. I think the better schools from the south are on par with the better schools of the north.

Some are, most aren't.

Stooping to that screams "uneducated". Another reason why it's hard to believe his claim of being a grad of a respected school.
