Texas A&M >>> 2012 LSU

LSU beat Texas A&M down on their home field. I guess your forgot about that one.

LSU >>> A&M

inability to get to 11 wins pretty much proves it.

LSU had 11 wins in the 2011.
Texas A&M was 7-6 in 2011.

SEC standings are more important than national ranking?

It's amazing how mind fricked y'all are by 1-9-12

LSU was better that day but A&M was better at the end of the year and had a better season.

There is literally no way to know this short of a rematch. Losing a bowl game doesn't change the SEC landscape. Sorry.

Nobody said that.

Fact:

Texas A&M finished in 5th place in the SEC.

Deal with it. Sorry if that ruins your special season.

LSU had 13 wins in 2011. What's your point. Y'all had a great season that won an SEC Title and an appearance in the BCSCG coming up 21-0 short

All that matters is your W2. Who cares how you get it.

That's not smart, that's actually kind of sad.

I'm smart enough to know where the money is and work in that field

That's not all that smart either. It would be smarter if you just picked a field, and THEN figured out how to make money in it.

Man, this thread got all kinds of stupid.

Still not a fact

It was a fact that after the regular season A&M was the 5th highest nationally ranked SEC team.

Season didn't end there. It ended with A&M tied for the 2nd highest ranked SEC team nationally at #5 with UGA. Good season Dawgs

As far as SEC standings we were tied for 2nd in the West with a 6-2 record

Head to head only matters if the team you beat didn't have a better record than you did.

Now you're catching on.

LSU and A&M had the same record of 6-2, yet LSU won head-to-head, therefore...

When they did have divisions they used your Aggie logic on determining the tie breaker.

Apparently they did because in 2010, we were in a 3-way tie for first and they went by BCS ranking even though we beat Oklahoma by 2 touchdowns.

That's the only time a tie breaker is used. Sorry for the facts.

Since your brining up history let me find some for yall.

2012 A&M finished = 5th in the SEC
2011 A&M finished = 7th in the Big 12
2010 A&M finished = 5th in the Big 12
2009 A&M finished = 8th in the Big 12
2008 A&M finished = 10th in the Big 12
2007 A&M finished = 7th in the Big 12

Now, after 6 years of complete domination Texas A&M fans feel like they are above LSU. Is that right?

May I ask how you decided those "rankings" in the Big 12? Other than 2011. That one is correct.

Well that stat is misleading!

Can I also say that in our last 7 meetings A&M is 5-2?

It's misleading as well

Don't worry. I gave yall the tie breaker, so you would not whine, if you had the same record as another team and did not play.

But, sorry if you had the same record as another team. If they beat yall head to head then I placed them above you.
