USC and UCLA have always been the red headed step children of LA sports. Though, to be honest, every sport there is a red headed step child. The Lakers filled up their arena because it was the place to go see celebrities and look cool.
Los Angeles is a lousy sports city.
That having been said PAC 12 attendance has been woeful even by the declining standards of college football.
