Indeed, they are corrupt as hell, especially in the Sheriff's Office.

So true!

St Tammany has had unbelievable growth in population & businesses over the past 20 years. The tax base has increased dramatically over the past 20 years. Yet, the parish’s infrastructure has not been improved at all. I have no idea where all the tax dollars that are generated in this parish go, because it isn’t towards anything that provides any benefit for those who live here.
