Some notes:
• UGA is currently a 1.5 pt favorite
• Today is UGA’s first postseason appearance since the 2016-17 season
• Xavier & UGA met in the postseason before in 2008, the year the Dawgs improbably won the SEC Tourney after posting a 4-12 conference record. The musketeers eliminated them in the first round

Georgia had 16 games this season that were within one possession with 5 minutes or less left. They went 8-8 in those games

UGA favored but Xavier was a quad 1 game on the road for every big east school.

I’m in the minority with the world but I have always followed with interest the NIT. I remember when only 32 went to the NCAA, and tons of quality teams that had pride, guts, and a chip on their shoulder played as hard or harder for a championship.
