I'd imagine it is because nobody really likes him outside of Carolina and Auburn. I bet they never asked him or even tried to get him.

ETA If you think that Nissan hasn't asked, you aren't very smart. I am sure athletes are asked to endorse things all of the time. That doesn't mean they do them.

Be that as it may be. The thing Can Newton is most known for is not diving for the ball in the Super Bowl. When it was all on the line, and it mattered the most. Cam choked and that is what he is most known for. Deep down inside you know it is true.

If you scroll down, it shows the companies Cam has endorsement deals with.
ETA I understand losing to Peyton is incomprehensible, but scroll for the products Cam endorses.

The man has his own cleats for one. But I'm sure that most people that aren't popular (according to Bama fans) have their own shoes. I coach Pop Warner football for my son's team, and half the kids out there have Cam Newton cleats. Half the kids out there do Cam's Superman pose, when they make a play.
