How about you let them go pro out of high school and stop letting the schools dilute their earnings!

You won't find any nation in the world that doesn't practice some forms of social economics. Socialism maybe a bad word but if done can be effective.

We could always go the way of the Big 12 with only a few teams getting the bigger pieces of pie while the rest just get the crust. Compare that to the SEC and see which conference is in better shape.

Sure if they are physically capable of doing so. I would say that college football needs two leagues. One just for NIL and thus are a developmental league and don't have to go to school since they don't need it as they are a professional. The other is for players that are not as highly recruited out of high school but still want to play football and get an education.

A whole bunch of the NIL pumpers aren't interested in a person's right to make money they just want enough carrot on the stick to entertain the masses!

No fan of socialism but if you don't have some form of revenue sharing in big money sports you'll soon run out of teams to play.

Already happening with basketball. If the NFL decides to do a prep league, college will fall off the map.

So socialism is ok when you end up helping those that need it.

Big sports would be very different without out it and not as popular.
It's ultimately in your own self interest to keep them afloat unlike the business world. Its a unique situation.

"Helping those who need it" can be interpreted to mean multiple things.
