It's amazing how you can keep track of all of your alters and even converse with each other.

It actually is kind of impressive. But cajunbama is the original account (1/12/2007). The rest are simply spawn.

Not really much to go negative on really, game was as expected. K State won comfortably but didn't really try to run it up. LSU played with heart but was overmatched. Not very good football but could have been worse, game itself was boring. Railing on LSU for losing is dumb because it wasn't really LSU outside of the jerseys. The only thing annoying to me is the martyrdom/hero talk as though this was something amazing when the reality is LSU had most of their team quit and not want to play (as many others have as well).

The bigger issue is that Non Playoff Bowl games are becoming a crap fest and getting worse. You have so many teams that have their best players opt out or just not care about being there playing against lesser teams that are playing like it is their Super Bowl so they can say they beat X Team even though it is a shadow of that team. This year we had entire teams just decide not to play (A&M wasn't alone). To me this is why we need the Playoff to be larger, I want as many teams actually playing for something that matters even if it's a longshot. Having most of the Bowl games turn in to teams that are completely different from what played all season is going to really impact the sport long term and it is very unhealthy.

Odd statement coming from a guy who still trolls on the internet 24/7 after previously having his acceptance into tamu’s business school and a job offer revoked because he was outed as a racist, internet troll.

I think we accept that mid and low tier bowl games are often going to be played with skeleton rosters and partial coaching staffs from now on. The bowl team isn't going to resemble the regular season team hardly at all. Sad state of affairs, but it's the reality of the game today.

Sadly, I agree this is the future of most bowl games. Not sure what the hell we can do about it.

Brothers! This is not the way. We came together for the LSU game, and now we are all one. 2022 is the year of SECRant peace. Kumbaya and shite.

Perfect response to this thread. I just sort of blacked out and this is what I wound up with.

Peace be upon you, brothers!

So, you're saying A&M would have played if their bowl was one of the playoff games. But what about so said covid issue?

Probably so. The starters wouldn't have opted out and suddenly they wouldn't be testing everyone looking to see if anyone came up positive. I have no doubt A&M was looking for an excuse not to play. If you go test the entire team and then use contact tracing you can shut everything down for any team most likely. I'm sure a few folks were legitimately sick but it was clear very few were interested in going back to the Gator Bowl to play Wake again. I'm not pretending otherwise.

The only difference between A&M and LSU is LSU's Admin decided to play anyway. So props for that but in both circumstances the fans lost. It was see crappy replacement level football or no football. Thus the greater point is they should work on fixing the system so that folks are trying to find a way to play instead of finding a way to opt out.
