In everybody's opinion. Nobody thinks Murray is a better pro prospect than mett. It is clearly mett.

That doesnt' mean mett is a better college QB though.

I'll take Mett and Cam Cameron.

Georgia's defense lost the Alabama and Clemson games, and Murray hung 41 on USCe this year.

What a shame his team is always holding him back from success.

Nice little caveat.

Again, he's played exceptionally well in his last three games against top 10 opponents. That's just a convenient, worn out argument you use against him that no longer applies. You can't put the Alabama or Clemson losses on him, and he beat USC.

How did I say it would help/hurt LSU? I was just stating what the column was about.

Yes, it is a shame that his defense hasn't been able to bail him out and improve his record.

Of course, if the roles were reversed and he played mediocre and the defense was elite and he was like 15-2 against ranked teams, everyone (and I mean ignorant folks like yourself) would just say "oh well Murray still sucks, his record is only good because of his defense".

LSU having a NFL prospect at QB with a 10/1 TD/Pick ratio is bad for LSU because UGA has a 4 year starter at QB with more career yards.

I agree, I hate it for the Georgia fans I like (although I enjoyed it in Atlanta last year ), but this thread isn't about his team. The bottom line is that the "Murray sucks in big games" stuff is outdated and no longer true.

You're right. The meme should now be that "more often than not, Murray tends to suck in big games."

Can we then just say Mettenberger sucks more often than not? Because obviously how people turn the corner doesn't matter.

I dont' think anyone hates mett. People hate how LSU fans have latched on to 4 games out of his career and act like he's the greatest QB of all time, when the rest of his career has been bad to average.

Must be extremely frustrating as a fan of said team. I feel for you. Seriously, the past decade as a UGA fan has to be the most frustrating of any team in CFB. Oh so close so many times, winning 13 games one year too early, 7 yards short last year, etc. etc.

Broseph Wallace is better than both of them. #1 draft pick.

Not really, in his last three games against the top 10 he hasn't sucked in any of them. Four if you want to count a bowl game against #16 Nebraska. But he didn't suck against Alabama, Clemson, or USC.
