Next is a domed roof with a glass floor below it. Fans will watch from above. You will sell a lot of tickets up there.
They need to sell tickets to watch outside.

State will be the next school to begin rennovating. They are further along than anyone else and are going to begin very soon.
State already broke ground on their expansion.
I posted that in April

Kentucky is adding an additional 2,000 in club seating with their $110 million upgrade of football facilities.

LSU broke ground on its SEZ expansion after the South Carolina game in the fall. Still driving pilings and with all the rain we got, it looks like a mud pit currently.
The NEZ is also receiving a bit of a facelift; nothing on the scale of the SEZ for now though.

That 2nd dawgzillatron is what's crazy to me...
I believe it's going to be CLEARLY visible from both sides of the Junction... which probably is not the greatest idea ever.
This gives an idea(obviously not visible from this angle in the dead center)
Another picture of our expansion as of today:

I never go on the side opposite of the junction on gameday, but I heard people watch football on the tron from that side while tailgating. It will be awesome to catch a look at games on the big screen while sippin on my whiskey before the game if they do actually show games on there. Not sure if that's true.

Also should note that we are placing footings for a full upper deck in that endzone in this phase, so the underground/dirt work that is being done is pretty extensive. It's also designed for another 22 suites to be stacked on top of the 22 upper level suites in this expansion, along with the upper deck.
Footings also being placed in the south endzone to complete the bowl when the time comes.
Basically, our next 2 phases of expansion will have the table set -- so when the demand is there, they can be completed quickly, most likely in a single off-season...

Alot of that sat beyond our bleachers -- so we actually started on it all back in August or September. Had a ton of dirt work done and footings starting to go in before the end of this season(and the removal of the bleachers)...

That's going to be so weird looking left from the west grandstands to see a bowled-in end zone. 2014 can't get here quick enough. Mustard Buzzards are going to shite themselves being the first team to play us in it.

That picture looks pretty good. What would this bring the MSU Stadium capacity to?

62k... net gain of about 7,000... With footing in place for the ability to go to 70-75 in a given offseason when the demand catches up.

I really like what MSU is doing with their expansion.
As for Tiger Stadium, I can't wait to see this:

Cool. I think the stadium will look nice when it is closed in.

Faurot Field Expansion
Here is the latest on Mizzou's Faurot Field expansion. Groundbreaking is this month I believe. Renovations on the West sky boxes is well underway and work on the north hill is set to begin this month, or next month, as well. I keep close tabs on it, drive by every day to see the progress.
