When SC was 9-0 ranked in the top 3 in the nation set to go the National title game in 1984.. all we had to do was beat Navy and we were in, regardless of what happened in the Clemson game. Well Navy upset us that year in one of the worst losses in SC history. The following week the Clemson band played Anchors Aweigh.
Luckily, like AU, SC got their revenge by beating CU that year @CU. A result I hope to replicate today.
