There is no conspiracy. This is the "deep south". I've always been amazed at how many "elite" players would stay in LA and MS when they have the opportunity to finally leave. Most of my family still lives in LA and MS, but those with the opportunity to leave went to CA and TX.

I've got some pretty shocking news for you, if your closed elitist mind can understand it.

Lots and lots of people from LA and MS love where they live and have no intention of leaving. As far as the best athletes go, maybe, just maybe they fall into the large group that I just described. They are smart enough to understand football will not last forever, and when their football careers are over they will have tons of job opportunities because they decided to play their college ball at home.
