CFP Semis aren't NY6 games.

Thanks for looking into that.
If we somehow play you guys close and make it a good game then hoping we stay ranked ahead of UT but that’s a long shot.
Going to be pissed if that FSU loss comes back to bite us in the arse but nobody to blame but ourselves.
I actually think you would have more to worry about with Alabama than Tennessee.
Tennessee definitely creates excitement with their offense, but Alabama has the name, and their two losses were both on the road and by 3 points or so. Alabama will end up higher than Tennessee, and (I think) go to the Sugar.
Orange, I think goes with Clemson/NC (Winner of ACCCG) and ND
or (Maybe?) LSU/Tennessee
Cotton could go with either LSU or Tennessee. LSU has the name, but with Tennessee's big win they might go with Tennessee. It's hard to tell, really, though. (This would come down to a decision if the Orange chooses ND)
Good luck. To me the team that plays for the SEC Championship should not be penalized for playing in that game, but it bit us several years ago.

I understand what you are saying and to a degree agree with you, but here is an explanation.
The New Year's Six, sometimes abbreviated as NY6, is an unofficial but commonly used term used to describe the following NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) bowl games: the Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Orange Bowl, Cotton Bowl, Peach Bowl, and Fiesta Bowl. These games are played annually on or around New Year's Day and represent six of the ten oldest bowl games currently played at the FBS level.
These six top-tier bowl games rotate the hosting of the two College Football Playoff (CFP) semifinal games, which determine the teams that play in the final College Football Playoff National Championship game.[1] The rotation is set on a three-year cycle with the following pairings: Rose–Sugar, Orange–Cotton, and Fiesta–Peach. The National Championship game may be considered part of the New Year's Six, depending on context.
